As a soon to be Certified Insurance Agency through the Health Insurance Marketplace called Covered California, we plan to begin offering health insurance plans inside and outside of the health insurance exchange for individuals and businesses as early as October 1, 2013 for coverage that will begin January 1, 2014.
It is estimated that the Marketplace will officially open October 1, 2013. Our insurance agency will be able to personally assist you with plan benefits, rates and plan selection. We will even be able to assist you with determining whether or not you and your family will qualify for lower costs. Watch for an upcoming state wide effort on television, radio, and in print that will spread the word about health care reform also called the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Watch specifically for our monthly email newsletters that will provide more details as they become available. Do not make any decisions to change your health insurance plan or purchase a new plan for 2014 until you discuss your specific and unique circumstances with us in October. There is no cost to you for the service that we provide.
